Error ID 13642 & 13638, removing Networks and IP Pools from VMM 2012
If you have configured Logical Networks with IP Pools in System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2012 SP1, you may at some point find yourself wanting to remove that IP Pool for one reason or another. For example, perhaps the subnet was previously defined in an unused Logical Network and now when you try to create a new Network you get an error about the Subnet overlapping with with one that already exists.

Event ID 1579: Cluster network name resource ‘Cluster Name’ failed to update the DNS record for name “DAG DNS Name (DAG.contoso.com)” over adapter ‘MAPI Network’. The error code was ‘DNS operation refused. (9005)’. Ensure that a DNS server is accessible from this cluster node and contact your DNS server administrator to verify the cluster identity can update the DNS record “DAG DNS Name (DAG.contoso.com)“.
